A Facebook user has appealed to the aid of the police and general public regarding to a threat over his life by another user on the social media platform.
According to him, he received a call from the person in the picture below.
This is his appeal below.
"Let it be known to the general public that Mr. Ikechukwu Igwe Emmanuel who was my secondary school mate and erstwhile friend has threatened my life on phone with his official phone number;+234 806 810 9251 and also on his Facebook timeline over what he tagged as buharist and Governor Yahaya bello Data boy.
Mr. Ikechukwu Igwe Emmanuel who owns a road side petty engine oil shop and resides in Oke Onigbin , Isin LG of Kwara state called me with +234 806 810 9251 at exactly 5:00pm and according to him: I'm suffocating him online with my posts and for that he will track me anywhere in the world and kill me if i don't join him in insulting the present Government, he also added that he'll kill my mum and kidnap my nephew who all reside in Oro Kwara state. And at about past 8pm same day he uploaded on his Facebook timeline attached screenshots.
Earlier, a close friend of mine called me telling me to be careful as Igwe Emmanuel is dreaded heavily.
Therefore, if anything happens to me, my mum or my nephew let Igwe Ikechukwu Emmanuel be held responsible for it.
I'm also using this opportunity to call on the Federal Government, the Inspector General of Police, the Kwara Commissioner of Police, Human Rights Commission and all other relevant authorities to take note of this threat to life.
